You Carry a Lot. You Don’t Have to Carry it Alone.

Confidential Trauma Therapy for First Responders & Emergency Healthcare Professionals.

An empty two-lane road stretches into the distance with mountains in the background and pine trees on either side.
  • Work in law enforcement, first responder roles, or trauma and critical care environments and are used to handling high-stress situations

  • Feel like they are always “on,” even off the clock

  • Struggle to talk about what’s going on with people who don’t understand the job

  • Notice stress showing up in sleep, mood, or relationships

  • Are used to being the one others rely on and don’t often have a place to put their own stuff.

  • Prefer a space that is completely separate from their department or workplace

For those who…

How I Work

My approach:

  • Confidential and independent from your department or workplace

  • Direct and practical, without unnecessary fluff

  • EMDR-informed and trauma-focused, while still practical and collaborative

  • Focused on helping you process what you’ve experienced and move forward with clarity and control

Meet Harley

Meet Harley

Harley Whitley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addictions Counselor with a background in crisis response, forensic social work, and trauma-informed care.

She has worked alongside law enforcement in high-pressure environments across Colorado, including co-responder work with multiple police departments and her current role with the Department of Corrections.

Harley understands the culture, expectations, and cumulative stress that often come with first responder and emergency healthcare professions. You won’t have to explain the mindset, the dark humor, the hypervigilance, difficult calls or cases, or the pressure to keep functioning while carrying the emotional weight of the job.

Her approach is grounded, direct, and focused on helping clients process difficult experiences, reduce overwhelm, and reconnect with who they are outside of survival mode. She incorporates trauma-informed approaches, including EMDR therapy, to support lasting healing and recovery.

Working Together

Working together is straight-forward, confidential, and focused on what actually matters.

This is a space where you don’t have to explain your job, filter what you say, or overthink how it’s coming across. We focus on what’s going on for you and work through it in a way that makes sense, and keep things practical.

Let’s Talk First

Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own.

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so we can talk, get a sense of what you’re dealing with, and see if working together feels like a good fit.

No pressure. No commitment. Just a conversation.
